Bob Hewitt

Bob Hewitt has been with the College for Creative Studies since 2003. Prior to that, Hewitt worked in the photo industry in Chicago for the better part of 20 years. In that time, he managed a film-processing lab, photographed for catalog production, did film composition work, photographed oil production facilities and worked as a transparency film retoucher.

As a fine artist, Hewitt served on the board of directors for the non-profit N.A.M.E. Gallery, worked with the Randolph Street Gallery and served on the board of directors for FLOOD.

Hewitt has shown work at N.A.M.E. Gallery, Hyde Park Art Center, Boston Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago Cultural Center, and Two Doors Down Gallery. Currently he is selling fine art jewelry at Blue Herron Gallery and overseeing the darkrooms, digital labs, coordinating work-study and teaching Color Theory at the College for Creative Studies.
