Scott Northrup

Scott Northrup studied sculpture and printmaking at the College for Creative Studies (BFA – Fine Arts, 1992) and spent the next decade or so in New York City exploring and collaborating with other artists and filmmakers, eventually studying at the New School (MA – Media Studies, 2003). His work has shown in galleries, museums, alternative spaces and film festivals including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MoCAD), vOID (NYC), the Ann Arbor Film Festival and Media City (Canada). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the College for Creative Studies teaching courses in Video Art & Production and is a Faculty Advisor for the Entertainment Arts Senior Production Studio, consulting on narrative, documentary and experimental forms, as well as animation and game design.
