Scott Bogoniewski, a renowned visual effects artist/animator in the entertainment industry, joined the College as Chair of the Entertainment Arts department. CCS consistently places graduates in Hollywood, and Bogoniewski will shape the department's curriculum to better align with the entertainment industry's needs from young professionals. He brings experience working in various entertainment fields including animated feature films, visual effects, video games and television post production. During the past seven years, Bogoniewski has worked on some of Hollywood's most successful and innovative animated feature films, including Beowulf, Polar Express and Surfs Up. He also played a lead role in the production of Monster House and the Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Bogoniewski earned a Master of Fine Arts in Digital Animation and Digital Art from the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from State University College at Buffalo.
