Kyohei Abe

Kyohei Abe is an artist whose works can be found in the public collection of the Museum Fine Art in Houston, the Detroit Institute of Art and the West Collection in Oak, Pennsylvania, as well as numerous private and corporate collections globally.

In addition to teaching courses at the College for Creative Studies, Abe has served as director and chief curator of the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography and worked as a creative consultant on marketing and publishing fine art photography. Abe has also organized numerous contemporary photography exhibitions and co-developed cultural events through photography with the Detroit Institute of Arts.
