Joyce Brienza

Joyce Brienza is a Detroit based painter who has shown work nationally and internationally. She has taught art at all levels in New Jersey, California and Michigan and was the assistant director at the Susanne Hillberry gallery for five years. Brienza has also received the Artist in Residence awards at the Walt Whitman Center for the Culture and Politics of Democracy, at Rutgers University, and the Detroit Children's Hospital where she is working on an art at the bedside program.
