Full Time Faculty - Art Education

Job Description:

The College for Creative Studies (CCS) invites applications for a full time faculty position in Art Education. Responsibilities include teaching introductory education and art education methods courses, student mentoring, supervising student teachers, interpreting and meeting State of Michigan teacher certification standards and protocols, program evaluation, resource development, and community outreach.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment as an art educator, with higher education teaching experience and creative team work. Qualifications include a Ph.D, or Ed.D. in Art Education or Curriculum and Instruction, Michigan teacher certification (K-12 Art), a minimum of three years of successful K-12 art teaching experience and higher education teacher preparation experience.
