Full Time Faculty - Graphic Design
Job Description:
The College for Creative Studies (CCS) is seeking candidates for a full time Graphic Design faculty beginning with the fall 2009 semester. CCS’ Graphic Design department seeks a graphic designer/educator with in-depth knowledge of the vast array of virtual media. The preferred candidate will have extensive experience designing for interactive media. He or she will have processes that balance research, theory and practice and will demonstrate an expansive world view. The ideal candidate believes in pushing boundaries while maintaining standards of impeccable design.
Position Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
A BA or equivalent in Graphic Design or Visual Communications with an advanced degree preferred; extensive teaching experience and/or professional work experience in graphic design; knowledge of appropriate software, including Adobe Creative Suite, AfterEffects, Flash, and Dreamweaver; applied knowledge of design theory; an established record of creative accomplishments.
