Chair of Fine Arts

Job Description:

The College for Creative Studies (CCS) invites applications for the position of Chair of Fine Arts. The Chair reports to the Dean of the College and is responsible for the management and future direction of the Fine Arts department at CCS.

Job Requirements:

The position requires a dynamic, imaginative and innovative leader with a strong record of accomplishment in teaching, education administration and art. Candidates must have an MFA (preferably in painting); a minimum of five years college teaching experience; and be an active, practicing artist with very strong exhibiting record. An established international orientation with expertise in contemporary digital tools and their impact on the arts, are other qualities being sought in candidates.
