Precollege Programs

CCS's art and design programs motivate, stimulate and guide emerging artists and designers toward their creative future.

Programs and courses are designed to give you the chance to experience a college-level classroom, where your challenge is to learn the skills being taught and apply them to creatively solve visual problems.

Middle and high school students, ages 13-19, who want to learn art and design principles through exciting project-based courses can explore a variety of creative disciplines, use new technologies and learn in CCS’s world-class facilities from CCS faculty. No prior experience or applications are necessary.

Many students find our courses helpful in creating a high- quality portfolio of work that they can use for application to an art and design college like CCS.
