Alumni Events Coast-to-coast

From the coast of Lake Michigan to the Pacific Ocean… this summer, CCS leadership, faculty and staff traveled to Chicago and San Diego to host receptions for area alumni. In June, a group of alumni gathered at Chicago’s trendy Fulton Lounge to re-connect with CCS and each other. Alumni were intrigued as President Rick Rogers described the details of the Argonaut Project and continued growth of CCS. The group had a fantastic time and swapped contact info to keep the CCS networking going.

In late July, a group from CCS traveled to San Diego for Comic-con International, the world’s largest comic book and pop culture convention. As part of the festivities, CCS alumni were invited to an exclusive party at Rock Bottom Brewery. People shared stories about ‘the Con’ and caught up with life happenings while enjoying cocktails and a sumptuous buffet. The event was the second annual San Diego alumni reception and the turnout was even larger this year.
