FED Bravo Demonstrator displayed on campus
On Thursday, February 21, the Fuel Efficiency Demonstrator (FED) Bravo Demonstrator was on display in the East Parking lot of CCS’ A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. The vehicle was created in conjunction with a 2010 Corporate Sponsored Research project.
During the project, World Technical Services Inc. (WTSI) in conjunction with the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) challenged 17 College for Creative Studies (CCS) Junior Transportation Design students with developing concepts for a Fuel Efficiency Demonstrator (FED) vehicle. Recent Alumnus Joel Zastrow, Transportation Design ’11, submitted the winning design and his concept was eventually used to create the FED Bravo Demonstrator.
