Work of CCS Entertainment Art student and alumnus to be featured in Detroit Independent Film Festival

CCS‚?? Entertainment Arts department will be represented during the first Detroit Independent Film Festival (DIFF), Tuesday, March 2 ‚?? Sunday, March 7 with the work of one alumnus and one student being screened. The DIFF is dedicated to screening the very best short films from Michigan and across the world. Organized by filmmakers, the event has no entry fees as is designed to promote Independent filmmaking by providing a venue that connects an audience with emerging independent filmmakers. Nick Ferguson, ‚??10 Entertainment Arts will have his film THE VISITOR screened at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 6 at the Burton Theatre (3420 Cass Avenue Detroit, MI, 4820). Jamie Surgener, ‚??09 Entertainment Arts, who is up for the Best Academic Film and Best Editing awards, will screen AVABOT at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 at Wayne State's Deroy Auditorium (5203 Cass, Detroit, MI, 48235).
