About CE

The Continuing Education department provides courses in a variety of areas to students of all ages, skill levels and experience. Courses for adults (16+) and youth (6-15) are offered in the evenings or on the weekends. A variety of course structures are available and include full 30 hour courses that meet once or twice a week, 9-15 hour short courses, and one-day workshops. Courses designed to teach marketable job skills in the design fields are offered through our Professional Development programs.

Registration for the Fall 2008 semester has begun. Registration is available on-line, by phone, fax, mail or in person. Our summer young artist and pre-college programs have been updated this year. Check out what we have done to make summer at CCS even more exciting.

Students enrolled in CE courses are invited to submit artwork for inclusion in the annual CCS Student Art Exhibition. The Student Exhibition Opening (SEO) is a fantastically popular fundraising event held each spring on the CCS campus. Students whose work is accepted for exhibition can offer their work for sale; 100% of proceeds from the sale of an individual's artwork goes to the artist. Tickets are required for the opening festivities.
