Pre-College Summer Experience
July 6-Aug 2, 2008
CCS' pre-college summer experience is designed to help you master the techniques, principles and materials that are the foundations of visual language. Come to improve your drawing skills and leave a big step closer to applying for college.
High school sophomores, juniors and seniors from across the country come together to learn from experienced faculty and accomplished artists. The Experience includes required and elective courses as well as guest speakers and studio visits. Students who successfully complete their course work earn college credit.

Major Elective options (choose one option)
- Transportation Design / Product Design / Interior Design
- Graphic Design / Advertising Design / Photography
- Animation / Illustration
- Crafts / Fine Arts
Application Deadline
Applications are due by May 5, 2008 for scholarship consideration.
The final application deadline is June 2, 2008.
Admission Requirements
- $50 Application Fee (non-refundable)
- Complete application form
- 6-10 samples of your work (digital CD of scanned images or slides are accepted)
- Statement about a piece in your portfolio (250 words or less). Be sure to identify the piece you are writing about.
- Letter of recommendation (optional)
