Kurt Buesching has made his way from Graphic Designer to Manager of Interactive Services by teaching himself, and others, how to incorporate new media technology into his work. Designers need to be more flexible for today's client demands and that includes full-service design- print, web, marketing, advertizing. Buesching's experience within the industry as a new technology user, manager who hires and seeks out new talent and teacher of new and interactive media tools has led him to understand the continuing need for Designers in the Graphic, Print and Advertizing fields to update skills so their expertise in design can stand up to the demand.

    Elections for positions on the AICAD CE Steering Committee will be held at the conference on October 18.

    Those interested in submitting their name for the ballot should complete the submission form by October 15.

    Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with the annual meeting planning (if the meeting host desires help)
  • Contributes to the development of the survey/report (although this should be self-sustaining after the ‘08 meeting)
  • Development/planning of any other initiative the larger group wishes to take on.

  • For questions regarding the roles and responsibilities of Steering Committee Members, please inquire via the List Serve so all who are interested can see responses from current and past Members.
