Digital Film and Video Certificate Program
Add digital video skills to the resume you want the film industry to notice. This program is designed for those who seek to work as a creative within the digital film and video world. Those who have a strong traditional photography backgrounds or video experience will find this program helpful in expanding their areas of expertise by adding time-based editing, sound and production skills to their skill set. The digital skills you will gain are the necessary foundation to compete at the advanced amateur or professional level. In this series of seven courses, you will gain an understanding of composition for image recording, camera and lighting basics, Adobe After Effects for special effects and motion graphics, editing in Final Cut, story boarding for production budgeting- a very respected skill if you can do it accurately- and sound editing. The final course of the program helps you refine your presentation skills and provides an overview of appropriate business practices in the world of film and video production, as well as on-set etiquette and how to work with, and as one of, a film crew.
