For the past four years, sophomore level Interior Design students have been getting an insiders look at carpet design and production by McQueen’s Carpets a Metro Detroit carpet retailer.
CCS alumna Josephine Corrado, Interior Design ’07, a designer with Ford & Earl Design Studio recently completed a mobile museum project examining the life of Abraham Lincoln titled Abraham Lincoln: Self-Made in America.
Interior Design senior Katarzyna Lys was recently selected as one of only 15 students nationwide to receive the Angelo Donghia Foundation Scholarship, one of the most sought after awards in the interior design industry.
For the past two years, sophomore level Interior Design students have been getting an insider,s look at carpet design and production by McQueen’s Carpets, a Metro Detroit carpet retailer. During the annual class visit to the store students were given a private overview of various carpets, backings and properties by the store owners.
