Thanks to the support of our Leadership Committee, Sponsors, and Board of Trustees, the 28h Detroit International Wine Auction two-day event raised over $1 million to support CCS student scholarships and Community Arts Partnerships.
In addition to the many collectible wines offered, the events featured unique auction lots such trips to Paris and Italy, as well as a fantastic VIP trip to Washington Wine Country. Other exciting lots included a Hot Air Balloon above Milford, MI, a private glass blowing party at epiphany studios in Pontiac, MI and a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona for the January 2010 Barrett-Jackson Car Auction, where CCS expects to raise additional income from the sale of the First Ever Cadillac CTS Coupe.

The 2009 Detroit International Wine Auction, the primary fundraising event for CCS, was an astounding success grossing more than $1 million to support undergraduate student scholarships and community outreach programs for high-risk Detroit youth.
