The First Ever Regular Production Cadillac CTS Coupe

DIWA - First EverNumber 1 distinction donated by Cadillac
Special thanks to the Suburban Collection

The Cadillac CTS Coupe turned quite a few heads at the Barrett-Jackson Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday, January 22, 2010. Ed Welburn, Vice President of Global Design for General Motors, was onsite right before the car went on the auction block. Welburn spoke highly of the College for Creative Studies and the impact that the College has on art and design, especially in the automotive world.

The lucky bidder walked away with the First Ever Regular Production Cadillac CTS Coupe for $87,000. The College for Creative Studies will receive one hundred percent of the proceeds of this vehicle, minus the fair market value and is tax deductible.

Building on the hardware, technology and craftsmanship of the award-winning CTS and V-Series sedan, CTS will be expressed in the form of a sleek, powerful and sophisticated two-door Coupe.

The Cadillac CTS Coupe will be a dramatic performance luxury vehicle, powered by a technically advanced 304hp Direct Injection V6 engine, with 6-speed tap up/down automatic transmission, and a track tuned suspension. The CTS Coupe is highly anticipated following its win as “Concept of the Year” at the 2008 North American International Auto Show and is expected to hit the market in summer 2010.
