Professional Development

Whether you are looking to develop a new career, make a career change or enhance your existing art or design skills, CCS' certificate and diploma programs will enhance your knowledge and understanding of your area of interest.

CCS offers two types of programs to help you build or refine marketable job skills. As a student in one of our Certificate or Diploma programs, you will be required to complete a series of courses that are tied to a set curriculum. Certificate course are non-credit bearing, and Diploma courses are worth 3-credits each. You can enroll in either program without becoming a full-time student. You can complete a Certificate in as little as two semesters or a Diploma in as little as five semesters.

Certificates are available in Digital Arts: Print, Digital Arts: Web and Digital Photography.

Diplomas are available in Professional Automotive Modeling and Residential Design.

CCS' Certificate and Diploma programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.

Certificate and Diploma students may qualify for financial assistance through the MI Works! program. To find out more visit www.michigan.gov/nwlb or www.mycareereducation.org
