College for Creative Studies Advertising Design students recently created innovative guerilla marketing campaigns for Detroit’s own flat-track roller derby league the Detroit Derby Girls. The winning campaign, created by Abigale Force will be officially unveiled at the sold-out Derby Girls bout on Saturday, February 13 at the Masonic Temple.

Advertising Design students Ryan Manial and Ryan Carter were awarded gold and silver respectively in the national American Advertising Federations (AAF) Student ADDY Awards competition. Ryan Manial’s gold award was for a newspaper ad titled “Waves” with Ryan Carter’s silver award coming for his “Charred” poster.
