The work of CCS Illustration students Michael Burdick, Lauren Moyer and James Noellert has been accepted into the New York Society of Illustrators’ Juried Student Show.
The 9th annual Children’s Book Society exhibition appears at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
Students from all disciplines at CCS recently participated in the 19th annual Hagopian Rug Design Competition.
Three Illustration seniors will have their work featured in the 40th issue of CMYK in April.
CCS Illustration alumnus Dustin Papow, ’07, recently had his piece, “Bolero,” selected for the Spectrum Annual 14. The Spectrum Annual, established in 1993, showcases the best fantasy, science fiction, horror, and otherwise uncategorizable artwork created each year.
CCS Illustration faculty members Don Kilpatrick and Stephanie Henderson had works selected inclusion in 3 X 3 Magazine’s Illustration Annual 2008.
In celebration of the Cinematic Couture exhibition, over 40 junior and senior level Illustration students at CCS participated in a fashion illustration project, sponsored by the Somerset Collection. The Cinematic Couture exhibition features more than 40 original period costumes worn by stars such as Kate Winslet, Madonna, Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellweger and Johnny Depp and is on display at the Somerset Collection through Sunday, October 7.
