Where can I get more information about scholarships?

There are merit based scholarships that you will automatically be considered for but there are no other scholarships at CCS that require additional applications. You can search the internet for scholarships that you do qualify for.

What is the total cost for attending CCS for one year, including housing, food, tuition, class materials, supplies, etc.. ?

CCS requires proof of funding for $40,550 for the issuance of the I-20. This would cover housing, materials, supplies, food and tuition as well as travel to and from the home country for one year.

I am an international student, since my country of citizenship is Canada. Will I still be able to receive financial aid, such as student loans?

International students are unfortunately unable to apply for loans unless they have a guarantor. There is a company, CANHelp which offers student loans to Canadian students studying in the US. There are limitations on this loan however and I believe you begin paying it back much quicker than a traditional student loan. You are eligible for our merit-based scholarships that we determine at the time of application and these can be up to $10,000 US per year for the four years you attend.

What is the deadline for an international student to apply to CCS?

We recommend that for visa purposes, international students complete the application process at least 90 days prior to the start of a semester. You will need time to secure a visa and make travel arrangements.

Is the SAT required to international students?

An SAT is not required for international students. We require one of the following-TOEFL, SAT or ACT. For international students, it is most commonly the TOEFL score as we require this for non-native speakers of English.

Do international students have financial aid in CCS? And how to apply?
