The College for Creative Studies, one of the nation's leading art education institutions, provides a dynamic learning environment where students explore issues of art and design, while preparing for careers in the professional world. In addition, we offer non-credit courses in the visual arts through our Continuing Education programs and provide opportunities for youth through Community Arts Partnerships.

Commercial tenants being wooed to CCS Taubman Center - and Tim Hortons becomes the first to sign on
The Taubman Center for Design, also known as the Argonaut Building, is home to a second College for Creative Studies campus and an arts- and design-oriented high school. But the gigantic structure still has room for 130,000 to 150,000 square feet of commercial tenants. The first of those tenants is Tim Hortons.

Crafts Alumna Received Lifetime Achievement Award
Alumna Lina Stephens (Crafts ’85) was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of African American Museums at their annual conference in August.

DETROIT, July , 2010 – The College for Creative Studies (CCS) has been granted accreditation by the Council of Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) for its Interior Design (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree program.
