CCS Crafts students develop concepts for the 2009 Chrysler Supplier Pentastar Award

Since 2002, Chrysler (formerly DaimlerChrysler) has called upon CCS students to design a unique commemorative trophy for the Chrysler Supplier Pentastar Award. This year, eight Crafts students participated in the annual scholarship competition.

CCS’s Student Exhibition Opening Friday, May 16

CCS' Student Exhibition transforms the CCS campus into a gallery of more than 3,500 student works of art and is one of Detroit’s largest celebrations of creativity showcasing creations by up-and-coming artists who craft furniture, sculpture, ceramics, hand-blown glass, jewelry, paintings, photography and other extraordinary works of art. The annual event is May 16 – 30 and begins with an Opening night event that allows attendees a special first chance to view and purchase artwork.

The Student Exhibition Opening and Sale transforms the CCS campus into a gallery of more than 3,500 student works of art.
