CCS receives Award of Excellence in the Publication Design category for the Heritage Region Silver Quill 2012 competition
The College for Creative Studies’ 2012 Benefit Enrollment Guide was selected for an Award of Excellence in the Publication Design category for the Heritage Region Silver Quill 2012 competition as conducted by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
Silver Quill Awards are presented to those outstanding professionals who have proven that their communication programs effectively furthered the goals of their organizations – boosting revenues, reducing cost, and motivating audiences to a desired action.
In addition, Silver Quill awards are an entree into the international Gold Quill awards competition which is IABC’s global awards competition recognizing outstanding achievement in communication.
CCS will be officially recognized at this year’s Heritage Region Conference in Pittsburgh this October.

On August 16, 2012, Detroit’s own Tyree Guyton had the opportunity to strut his stuff for the city of Basel, Switzerland’s Cultural Capital. Hosted by Maja Oeri and Hans U. Bodenmann, founders of the Laurenz House, Guyton shared what nine months of study, research and travels have produced at his studio, Bollag Project Space, Gaertnerstrasse 50, 4057 Basel / Switzerland on August 16, 2012.
