CCS Students Receive Free Admission to Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance
CCS students who can show a valid student ID will be able to attend the world renowned Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance, for free according to organizers of the classic car show. The Concours takes place Sunday, August 5, 2007 on the plush grounds of historic Meadow Brook Hall on the campus of Oakland University.

MAIN GALLERY: CCS at 100: Alumni Sampler , this exhibition features the work of CCS alumni representing all the various disciplines taught at the College, from the fine arts, including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, glass, ceramics, fibers, metals, furniture, photography, film/video, and illustration, and from the design disciplines, graphic, interior, advertising, transportation, and product design.

Dennis Summers: Phase Shift
Opening Friday, November 2 through December 15, 2007 This new work by Michigan multi-media artist Dennis Summers features a series of digitally created abstract videos inspired by the music of Steve Reich. These stunningly and optically complex video paintings explore - within a field of color and light - an experience that is at once mesmerizing and meditative. In 2006, one of these works received the Purchase Prize at La Bienal Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo in Almería, Spain.

Guidance Counselor Visit Day
On Wednesday, March 7, from 9 a.m. ? 12:30 p.m., the Admissions Department will host area high school and college guidance counselors for a CCS campus visit. The day?s agenda will include presentations by Financial Aid, Career Services, Continuing Education, Student Life and the International Studies Department. Counselors can also participate in a question/answer period with a CCS student panel. Guidance Counselors will have an opportunity to meet with the Admissions Counselor assigned to their school and receive a campus tour.
