Center Galleries
Center Galleries, the exhibition venue for the College for Creative Studies, is one of Detroit's most active and engaging centers for the contemporary visual arts. Each year, Center Galleries presents the work of local, national and international artists in over 15 exhibitions in its four spaces, the Main Gallery, Alumni & Faculty Hall, the Permanent Collection Gallery, and the U245 Student Gallery. Exhibitions are routinely accompanied by artist lectures, symposia, gallery talks, film, literary and performance events. Center Galleries provides an environment in which students and art lovers alike can connect with and experience the best in contemporary art.
CCS also hosts a number of special events throughout the year to raise money for student scholarships and our community art programs. The two largest events are the Detroit International Wine Auction and the Student Exhibition Opening Reception and Sale.

The Detroit International Wine Auction
The Detroit International Wine Auction, now in its 27th year, raised $1.4 million last year alone. With exceptional lots ranging from fabulous trips to premier bottles of wine, the Wine Auction is the premier fundraising event for the college. All proceeds from the auction benefit student scholarships and community art programs.
