The Office of Multicultural Affairs is committed to enabling all students, both at CCS and in the greater Detroit community, to be successful in the arts through the promotion of inclusion, diversity, and support.  Multicultural Affairs helps to create a culturally rich learning environment where students can excel as active learners and artists.

Guiding Principles:

  1. Develop and foster an environment free of discrimination that is based on a cultural of inclusion and appreciation.
  2. Provide a support network to at-risk student populations.
  3. Engage the CCS student body in cultural diverse programming to empower them to be active CCS community members.
  4. Provide the best customer service to the CCS student body.
