Entertainment Arts Accomplishments 2010/2011
CCS Entertainment Arts students have been busy participating in film and animation festivals this past year including:
- Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival
- Carolina Film and Video Festival
- Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF)
- DIY Film Festival, Los Angeles, CA
- Ann Arbor Film Festival
- Detroit Independent Film Festival
- Melbourne Film Experience
- Three films by students were selected for this year’s Ann Arbor Film Festival:
- “Mort” by Dean Denell - Denell won the VUE/DFC Award for Best Michigan Filmmaker for his film, he received $375, plus his film will be listed in several national publications including Variety, IndieWIRE and Cinematical.
- “When I Went to Europe” by Alex Grossfeld
- “Absolute” by Matthew Pritchard
