Digital Photography Certificate Program
Harness and expand your knowledge of the photographic arts by mastering the digital technology required for today's professionals. This program is designed for those who have basic skills in digital photography and for those with strong traditional photography backgrounds. Students will learn the art of photography and be able to translate it into a digital medium, using state-of-the-art digital equipment and imaging software. The digital skills you will gain are the necessary foundation to compete at the advanced amateur or professional level. In this series of seven courses, you will gain an understanding of photographic traditions, advanced digital darkroom tools in Adobe Photoshop, monitor and printer color calibration methods, creating and using paper profiles, and lighting for digital - all taught using a project-based, hands-on approach. Some courses have required pre-requisites and an elective studio course must be taken.
