Samantha Bankle Schefman
There is so much to be learned in every experience and opportunity.
Samantha, Crafts Major and recent graduate, secured two internships while at CCS and upon graduation accepted her third internship. Samantha’s first internship was at a metalsmithing jewelry studio called Stefani & Co. which is owned and operated by two CCS alumni. While she was there, Samantha had the opportunity to work alongside professional artists, gain confidence in her technical skills and learn about the inner workings of a small private studio. Samantha then interned at Marlaina Stone LLC where she worked as a metal artist and learned more about running a small business. Upon graduation Samantha was offered an internship with Miriam Haskell who owns the rights to such brands as Betsey Johnson and Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers. One month after graduation Samantha is living in NYC and working on the Harajuku Lovers line where a few of her designs are in production.
