Gifts in Honor or Memory

Making a gift in honor or memory of a person is a way to pay tribute to someone who has touched your life and/or the lives of others in the art and design world. CCS can provide materials for memorial donations at services, if requested.

• Scholarship Gift Options
• Gifts would be co-mingled with the CCS Annual Fund which provides scholarships across all disciplines, allowing young artists the opportunity to pursue their studies. CCS will track gifts even though the funds will be part of a larger scholarship fund.
• A named Annual Scholarship would be held by the College in a temporary restricted fund and awarded on an annual basis, pursuant to the donors directives (to a particular department or specific year(s) student). The Scholarship(s) can be awarded in one year, or a period of several years.
• An Endowed Scholarship can be established with a suggested minimum of $25,000. Funds are then invested through the College's investment advisor, and are diversified in approximately 8 different investment funds. CCS has an Investment Committee, comprised of a subset of our Board of Trustees. Scholarships would begin to be awarded based on the average earnings after a period of three years, based on the donors directives regarding department, year of school, academic standing etc. The principal of the fund would never be spent, and would exist in perpetuity.
