Dr. Lisa Catani


Lisa Catani's creative interests include writing fiction, personal essays and creative nonfiction. She is currently researching new material to be incorporated into her DFS 101 Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies class, including Ibsen's set designs, costume designs and recent experimental interpretations of the classic play, A Doll's House.


Lisa Catani has taught English language and literature at the college level for over thirty years. She also has corporate experience, including work at Chrysler Corporation, where, along with colleagues, she researched, wrote and edited the corporate newsletter and wrote and delivered a daily in-house news broadcast. She also edited documents for the City of Detroit's Water and Sewerage Department during the Dennis Archer administration.
