A generalist in art history, Michael Farrell founded the first honors art history program in Canada as well as the Art History Department at the University of Windsor.
He served as Adjunct Education Curator at the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Historical Museum. Farrell has lectured extensively at museums, galleries and conventions across the United States and Canada, and also at area libraries and community organizations. He is the Director of Art House, an adult study center for the arts, and conducts study tours of American and European cities for University of Windsor, Siena Heights University and Central Michigan University. For his current project, Farrell is writing, producing and appearing in a PBS film about Italian Cities.
