Currently, Marian Lambers is teaching The History of Modern Design; other courses she has taught at CCS include Nineteenth Century Painting, Art and Culture in the Ages of Discovery, and Art and Culture of Ancient Civilizations.
As Visual Resources Curator at CCS, Lambers oversees the development of digital image collections. This includes interacting with and training instructors and students, selecting collection content, data asset management, and supervision of metadata (cataloguing) and image quality. She also spearheaded the transition from analog to digital collections in 2004 and have directed the growth of an in-house collection to over 75,000 images in approximately ten years. Her responsibilities also include managing additional campus collections featuring student work and archival material.
