Susan's research interests include the role of metacognition in developmental writing as well as pioneering new techniques for working with students with disabilities. She is currently working on a book about her work remediating students with Non-Verbal Learning Disorder.
Susan Trudeau has been teaching English as an adjunct instructor at CCS since 1999. In her work at both CCS and other local institutions, she specializes in working with reluctant writers and students with disabilities. Susan has taught high school and college level English for 25 years; currently, she also serves as Curriculum Coordinator (chair) of University Academic Services at the University of Detroit Mercy, as well as the manager of the tutoring staff. Susan is also the Publicity Chair of the ArtFair! Committee in Grosse Pointe, and she is the president of the Partnership for Different Learners
