Don Kilpatrick is a successful freelance illustrator whose work has been featured in Fortune, the LA Times and The Wall Street Journal. One of his illustrations was used on the Olympic medal for the XIX Winter Games in Salt Lake City. In addition to freelance assignments, Kilpatrick has exhibited his artwork in New York, Philadelphia and Miami. The Butcher's Daughter hosted his first solo exhibition in November of 2012 and another solo exhibition recently in December of 2013.
In 2007, Kilpatrick moved to Detroit to begin his career at the College for Creative Studies as a faculty member in the Illustration Department. He has served as the departmental chairperson since 2010.
