Golsa Yaghoobi

Golsa Yaghoobi is a painter and printmaker based in Detroit.

Most recently, she completed her artist residency at Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris, France. Her work appeared in the 2013 curated exhibition Women Image Hot, at The Scarab Club. Her record also includes the international exhibition The Veil: Visible and Invisible Spaces. Various permanent collections feature Yaghoobi’s work, including the Richard Weisman collection. She has been teaching fine arts for nine years, and has received awards and fellowships including the OMNI Center for Peace Scholarship and a King Fahad Scholarship.
