POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Precollege Summer Experience Program Coordinator helps support the students, parents and staff of the CCS Precollege Summer Experience. June 28 – July 29, 2023. Mix of office hours and on call.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Interfaces with parents during the program.
- Assists in supervising PCSE mentors
- Attends and supports all mentor training and meetings
- Supports PCSE students through conflict resolution and judicial interventions
- Perform additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with adolescents
- MSW preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Demonstrated computer literacy
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office and college campus environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. This position requires the employee to work on site during the Summer Youth and Teen programs. The employee is expected to work through the summer without taking vacation time during the summer camp program.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position, move from one location to another, use a computer or office equipment, and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and virtually. Frequent interaction with others, including staff, faculty, students, and third parties is required. The employee must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 30 pounds, including from high to low places. CCS will make reasonable accommodations that will allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
