PCS Overview

Ages 14 - 19

The College for Creative Studies’s art and design programs motivate, stimulate and guide emerging artists and designers toward their creative future. Our programs and courses are designed to give you the chance to experience a college-level classroom, where you will learn to creatively solve visual problems.

Middle and high school students who want to learn art and design principles through exciting project-based courses can explore a variety of creative disciplines, use new technologies, and learn from CCS faculty at CCS’s world-class facilities. Many students find our courses helpful from CCS in creating a high-quality portfolio of work that they can use for application to an art and design college like CCS.

Whether you prefer to study during the school year or over the summer, CCS has courses that are sure to fit your needs and schedule. We offer several workshops, short courses and credit-bearing classes in all of the College’s art and design majors.
