Youth Courses (Ages 8 — 13)

Young minds are full of curiosity and the need to learn. Each young artist class is designed to fulfill those desires and teach basic art and design skills. We offer a variety of studio and digital-based courses for several age groups in a supportive learning environment. All materials included.

September: Cartooning

November: Shibori for Kids

Explore the ancient Japanese art of dying with indigo. Students will create a t-shirt for themselves and a silk scarf to give as a gift.

December: Designing Cars

Drawing

Young artists will tap into their imaginations and create works of art on paper. Students will work from still lives and clothed models to develop and improve drawing skills. Techniques for creating shadow, value and form will be introduced.
