For International Students
All applicants to CCS are automatically considered for CCS merit-based Scholarships once they complete their admissions requirements. Awards are based on the portfolio review and academic achievement of the applicant and can vary from student to student during the admission process. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to continue receiving these scholarships.
All International applicants are also awarded a $1,500 International Student Grant for each academic year they are enrolled. Grant money does not need to be repaid and will be automatically applied to the student's account.
Students studying full-time in the U.S. on an F1 student visa are only eligible for certain types of on-campus employment. Employment on campus is limited to fewer than 20 hours per week during the semester, but you may work up to 40 hours per week during the annual vacation period. Work-study positions are updated regularly on the Financial Aid section of the CCS Blackboard site with application instructions. If you have additional questions about work-study or want to see available positions, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at 313.664.7495 or firstname.lastname@example.org
