Earn Full Scholarship to Summer Camps
CCS offers three unique competitions, exclusively for high school students interested in Transportation Design, Fashion Accessories Design and Product Design. Selected participants will be awarded a full scholarship to attend the three-week CCS Precollege Summer Experience free of charge, while also earning three college credits.

Automotive Design Competition
Through the Dunning Automotive Design Competition, CCS offers 15 students the opportunity to attend our three-week automotive design summer camp. Students get an up-close, hands-on view of the automotive design industry while being taught and tutored by designers from GM, Ford and Fiat-Chrysler.
Fashion Design Competition
CCS offers 10 students the opportunity to attend our three-week Fashion Design summer camp free of charge through the Fashion Design Competition. High school students interested in the fashion industry have the opportunity to design and create fashion apparel and accessories in this immersive three-week summer camp. Students will make their own designs come to life under the tutelage of CCS faculty in our state of the art studios.
Sneaker Design Competition
CCS offers 6 high school students an opportunity to attend the College’s Precollege Sneaker Design Summer Camp at no cost through the CCS Sneaker Design Competition. This three-week camp gives high school students the chance to prepare for CCS's Product Design program where graduates have gone on to work for Nike®, Adidas®, and Puma®. Each student will earn three transferable college credits.
Art Practice Scholarship
The College for Creative Studies’ inaugural Valade Scholarship seeks to reward excellence in the visual arts. CCS incoming freshmen of exceptional promise — with a 3.0 high school gpa and who work within and between the disciplines of painting, drawing, print or digital media, sculpture, installation and performance — are all eligible to apply.
One incoming freshman will receive a $50,000 award, to be distributed in $12,500 increments over the course of four years.
