CCS Team Wins International Biodesign Challenge
A team of CCS students took the grand prize at this year’s Biodesign Challenge, an international education program and competition that partners students with biologists, artists, and designers to envision, create, and critique emerging biotechnology.
Creative Boost Series Welcomes CCS Alumnus Jason Mayden
Jason Mayden, CCS Product Design alumnus and the man behind the generation-shaping enterprise, Super Heroic, has been a designer of iconic footwear for athletes like Michael Jordan, the first to design award-winning footwear specifically for kids and, although he can’t quite believe it, he’s also the entity behind ‘Jason Mayden Day’ – March 17th in Austin, TX.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. Although the Emancipation Proclamation was effective on January 1, 1863, it took 2 and a half additional years for enslaved men, women, and children in Galveston, Texas to have their legal right to be free honored. Acting as the date of emancipation, June 19th also became a long-standing day of celebration, meant to honor African-American resilience and the end of slavery.
CCS Alumnus Named Honorary Class Member of Princeton's Class of 2020
Princeton University’s senior class have selected 13 individuals as honorary members of the Class of 2020, including CCS Illustration alumnus and lecturer in visual arts at Princeton's Lewis Center for the Arts and a 2018-19 Princeton Hodder Fellow. Every year, the graduating class inducts honorary class members to commemorate faculty, staff, alumni and others who have left a particularly profound impact on their class.
A Time for Healing, Coming Together, and Action: A Message on the Memory of George Floyd

Statement on George Floyd from the Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion
On Friday, June 5, at 3:30pm, the Office of Institutional Equity and Inclusion (OIEI) and President Don Tuski will host a virtual sharing circle for any members of the CCS community to process their feelings and experiences in relation to this topic.
