21 CCS Students Make Shortlist for 2014 Car Design News Interior Motives Design Awards

Each year, the prestigious Interior Motives Design Awards (IMDA), presented by Car Design News, showcase the best student automotive designs from among hundreds of entries from around the world. In 2013, fifteen CCS students were recognized for their entries, resulting in a Most Successful School Award for the College for Creative Studies.

This year is already shaping up to be a reprise of 2013: 21 CCS students have made the shortlist for the 2014 IMDA Awards—including a category winner and a finalist from last year.

Congratulations to the following CCS students:

Ryan Browne, Tyler Charest, Yu-Chen Chen, Amin Einakian, Andre Fajardo, Eun Hye Hong, Jaekyeun Hwang, Byungwan Kang, Geumwook Lee, Joon Han Lee, Ming Tsai Lin, Paul Mutter, Arkadiy Okhman, Niko Pesa, Andrew Rudd, Adam Schumacher, Young-Joon Suh, Cumhur Unveren, Jun Wang, Yong Kyu Yi and Sol You

In 2013, Geumwook Lee (’14 Transportation Design) won for Best Concept Exterior and MFA student Yu-Chen Chen placed as a finalist. Jun Wang also was shortlisted for 2013.

The 21 CCS students will compete for top honors in eight categories. Winners will be announced at the IMDA ceremony at the Paris Motor Show, October 1.
