CCS Entertainment Arts alumnus wins Best Editing Award at the Detroit Independent Film Festival

CCS Entertainment Arts alumnus, Jamie Surgener, â??09, won the Best Editing award for his film AVABOT at the Detroit Independent Film Festival (DIFF). AVABOT was created by Surgener as his senior thesis project at CCS. The DIFF is dedicated to screening the very best short films from Michigan and across the world. Organized by filmmakers, the event has no entry fees as is designed to promote Independent filmmaking by providing a venue that connects an audience with emerging independent filmmakers.
