Students were challenged to design a vehicle that fits into one of Chrysler Groupâ??s four core brands, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram. Each branded vehicle was to compete in a unique racing series or event and clearly incorporate a philosophy fitting a likely scenario for the world of 2027. Students were also asked to consider how technological, environmental, economic and cultural factors will affect the racing environment they chose. With such a broad category in which to develop a vehicle, students created a wide range of products including traditional racing vehicles, a motorcycle influenced Baja racer, an all-terrain rally car, an amphibious vehicle and a car designed to travel 300 miles per hour.
