Interior Design students win awards at the annual "Fashion to Function" event

The Michigan Chapter of the Interior Design Association hosted an annual Fashion to Function (F2F) event in which design teams and sponsors created one-of-a-kind outfits made solely from interior finish materials and modeled them on the runway. This yearâ??s theme was â??Cities Around the Worldâ? and CCS Interior Design students Brie Norton, Shayne Shepherd and Jaquie Jurkovic, led by faculty member Hulya Cakan, created an Irish entry which won the People's Choice and the Best Integration of the Theme Award. The event took place September 30 at the Royal Oak Music Theater.
