Leading Hollywood Animator Joins College for Creative Studies Faculty

Scott Bogoniewski, a renowned visual effects artist / animator in the entertainment industry, has joined the CCS as Chair of the Animation and Digital Media department. In this position, Scott will direct CCS's department, which provides an education that aligns with the needs of today's global economy and consistently places graduates in Hollywood. Graduates of CCS's program have gone on to work on various projects including Pixar's "Cars," Sony Pictures' "Open Season," Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" and a variety of video games. Scott brings more than 10 years of experience to CCS, working in various entertainment fields including animated feature films, visual effects, video games and television post production. During the past seven years he has worked on some of Hollywood's most successful and innovative animated feature films, including "Beowulf," "Polar Express" and "Surf's Up." Bogoniewski also played a lead role in the production of "Monster House" and "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."
